Post-production, if you can call it that, on the Bangers n' Mash Show is so slow that we don't even try to line up with calender events anymore. This episode, ostensibly a St. Patrick's Day special, was recorded on the 20th, several days after the holiday. Naturally, it wasn't actually ready for posting until a full ten days later. And the raw audio was short too, running a little over an hour. That should give you idea of how much gets cut out and how much I work I put into a single episode.
Anyway, here's our episode about the "Leprechaun" movies.
Rewatching the six (!) films for this retrospective, I was struck by how incredibly dumb the movies are and how much silly affection I have for them anyway. It's no surprise they've become a cult item. None of them are objectively good and the scripts, execution, and acting is ridiculous in all of them. But there's something sort of charming about the series, especially in the ones that really go for broke on the silliness.
Anyway, I've got one more final James Bond-related post going up tonight before a bonus episode of the podcast goes up tomorrow. Don't get excited, it's just a lame commentary.
