If you're wondering why I take the time to both write up extensive con reports and record podcast episodes about Monster-Mania each year, here's why: The con reports are my thoughts of what happen after they've been stewing in my brain for a day or two. The podcast reports are immediate and recorded on the spot. Secondly, and primarily, there are people who listen to the show but don't read my blog and vice-versa. I apologize for being repetitive for those that enjoy both.
Most importantly though, there's some you can do in audio that you can't do in text. LIKE HAVE ROBERT ENGLUND RECORD AN AWESOME OPENING BLURB! I'm sorry, I'm still nerding out hardcore about that. Beyond that, I attempted to record the "Monster Squad" and "Nightmare on Elm Street" panels though, as usual, the audio quality can be a be patchy.
The Halloween Horror-fest Blog-a-thon continues tonight with more monster movie reviews. The next episode of the Bangers n' Mash Show will be a focused one, I promised.

I've never been to any sort of "Con". The whole thing sounds nerdy as Hell, which means I'd probably like to attend one.
I would probably spend way too much cash on obscure DVDs and other stuff.
